Yamaha Motor Europe and MotoGP series owners Dorna presented today the exclusive new Xenter MotoGP scooter at the Misano MotoGP in San Marino.
Powered by a punchy 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine and available in 125cc and 150cc variants, the new Xenter MotoGP is one of Yamaha’s strongest performers in the high wheel class. In addition to its sporty and responsive engine character, the Xenter MotoGP also offers excellent roadholding and stability, thanks to its sturdy front forks and Monocross rear suspension. For a smooth ride on uneven and cobbled streets, this fashionable sports scooter is equipped with lightweight 16-inch diameter wheels.
Featuring a sportier design than the standard model, the new Xenter MotoGP offers even more in the way of style and comfort. For an even sleeker profile, this high-performance lightweight is equipped with an exclusive new dark smoke sports screen and a new rear carrier cover. With added wind protection from the new smoked screen, the Xenter MotoGP offers sports style combined with everyday practicality, making it one of the most desirable models in the high-wheel class.
"Yamaha already offer the popular Jog RR MotoGP, and with the new Xenter MotoGP we are happy to extend our relationship with Dorna for the first time into the 125cc and 150cc scooter classes" commented Mr Shun Miyazawa, Yamaha's PTW Product Manager. "This sporty new model adds MotoGP flavour to the daily commute!"
Finished in slick black bodywork and featuring an exclusive MotoGP and Yamaha graphics scheme, the new Xenter MotoGP brings a touch of Grand Prix racing glamour to the 125cc and 150cc scooter classes!
Both models will be available in Yamaha dealers from November 2012.
