Suspensions

Take Suspension to the Next Level

The needs of the rider are at the core of every Yamaha suspension design. Whether you’re into rough-riding, smooth touring on groomed trails or diving through fresh powder, there are shocks and suspensions to suit you at the rear and upfront. Each snowmobile features an exacting configuration for riding style and terrain. Adjustable straps, dampers, springs and clicker shocks give you the control to tweak your suspension for the perfect ride.

Dual Shock CK rear suspension

With 40mm aluminium H.P.G. shocks, tri-cam preload adjuster, a control rod to adjust coupling, and rails tipped up 6° exactly where a 3073mm (121”) skid would end, this new rear suspension offers ultimate adjustability. An adaptable footprint combines unprecedented rough trail ride comfort with excellent off-trail capability.

Dual Shock Pro 46 rear suspension

The culmination of years of intensive development, the race proven Dual Shock Pro 46 is simply the best big bump rear suspension. Built with competition spec reinforced arms and rails, it handles the roughest trails. The three-way clicker shock on the rear and two-way clicker shock on the front arm offer ultimate adjustability.

ProMountain Air rear suspension

Heavy suspension springs are a thing of the past with ProMountain Air rear suspension – the FXNytro M-TX is the industry’s first springless snowmobile. The skid, built in collaboration with Fox®, combines powder performance and a light weight. The result: a sensitive, tunable suspension with great anti-bottoming characteristics.

ProComfort CK rear suspension

With ProComfort CK rear suspension, a plush ride and great anti-bottoming performance are assured. With a high-tech Ø 40mm high pressure gas clicker shock on the skid’s rear arm, it’s easily adjusted for one or two riders. The suspension also features a special style of wheel, with replaceable bearings and a trick looking spoke design.

Mono Shock II with Fox Mega FLOAT air rear shock

The mono shock rear suspension features a Fox Mega FLOAT air shock. It uses more than twice the volume of compressed air than the front shocks. This allows extremely comfortable riding, even on rougher surfaces. Using compressed air rather than springs also means softer cushioning for smaller bumps and strong cushioning for larger loads.
