And whether you’re commuting to the office or college, touring across Europe or heading to the beach, a Genuine Yamaha top case makes all the difference.

The new 39 litre and 50 litre top cases are available standard in Matt Black from your Authorised Yamaha Dealer. However, optional coloured lids are available, and you can choose from a selection of finishes that either match your bike, or contrast with its colour scheme. Yamaha dealers are able to supply a number of top cases already equipped with specific coloured lids, while other coloured lids need to be purchased separately and retro-fitted.

Manufactured in Germany using the latest technology and quality control standards and constructed from lightweight and durable polypropylene, the new top cases are available in two sizes. Designed to hold one full-face helmet, the 39 litre top case is ideal for riders who use their bike for daily commuting as well as general running around and weekend leisure use. And if you’re looking for even more capacity, the larger 50 litre top case is capable of holding two full-face helmets or a laptop computer, making it suitable for everything from long distance touring through to courier work. The extra capacity also makes the larger 50 litre top case ideal for carrying gear to the beach or gym, enabling you to enjoy your Yamaha to the full, at work and at play.

Standard features on both the 39 litre and 50 litre versions include a useful handle that allows you to carry the top case like a briefcase when removed from the bike – and there’s also a large built-in reflector for added visibility in low-light conditions. Yamaha dealers can also install an optional single key system which allows you to operate the top case with your Yamaha’s ignition key for added convenience – and you can also upgrade the top case with an optional passenger back rest as well as a handy optional inner bag.

Both top cases are designed for easy installation, and – depending on your model type – can be either fixed directly to your Yamaha or attached to the bike’s optional rear carrier, and, for some models, to the optional universal mounting plate.
