Security and convenience is an important part of owning an outboard and the buoyant wireless fob (push-button) offers both of those.

Once within around 80cm of the console, it automatically unlocks your boat and all that’s left between you and going further ashore is a simple starter button.

Allowing for keyless start/stop push-button ignition panels to shut-off the power, the fob also serves as an on/off device for Y-COP® anti-theft system, disengaging the outboard’s ignition.

Additionally, once the battery-operated fob is low on juice, it will sound an audible alert to the operator. It is water resistant to a depth of 10cm for five minutes, and in case of loss you will be able to still unlock your boat using a four digit code, set either by yourself or at the Yamaha factory.
