Australia is known for its harsh conditions and stunning scenery and Rodney Faggotter knows it better than most. The Official Yamalube Yamaha Rally Team rider joins the Ténéré Tragics on their Bay to Bush Run. The event is a completely Ténéré focused race and features classic models from throughout the decades.

STAGE 2
Continent: Africa
Route: Merzouga to Merzouga
Distance: 600 km

Special fact: This stage follows part of the route of the original Paris to Dakar Rally
No event in motorsports history screams adventure like the Paris to Dakar Rally. While in recent years it has moved away from its birth-origin, the spirit of Dakar lives on. To test the capabilities of the Ténéré 700 World Raid, rally legend Stephane Peterhansel will be retreading some of the route where he won an incredible thirteen Paris to Dakar rallies. With this direct descendant of the bike he won his first Dakar victories on, who better to show the way?

STAGE 3

Route: Takes in a portion of the current Dakar Rally route
Distance: 800 km
Rider: Adrien van Beveren
Special fact: The Dakar Rally has been run in South America between 2009 and 2019Adrien van Beveren picks up duties as ambassador here where he battles the odds every year as part of the Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team.
Adrien is here to show just how challenging the terrain can be and just how well the Ténéré 700 World Raid can handle it. South America is a breeding ground for rally legends and that’s down to changeable conditions, difficult terrain and spectacular scenery. What better place to get into the latest in adventure technology.

STAGE 4
Continent: Europe

Special fact: The stage covers the most diverse terrain and features multiple locations and ambassadors.
After the deserts of Australia, Morocco and Argentina, the 2018 Ténéré 700 World Raid finds its way to the diverse wilderness locales of Europe. From woody backcountry to the alpine playgrounds of Italy, the European leg is designed to test the ultimate versatility of the bike. The stage and the World Raid as a whole end at the Hard Alpi Tour in Italy, an event that pits a whole range of riders against dirt tracks and winding roads found in the Alps. A fitting end to an incredible adventure.
