YXZ1000R Background
Racing is in the DNA of Yamaha Motor, nothing else ‘revs your heart’ in the same way and there are few other stages which better demonstrate the reliability and build quality of such a machine than on the race course.
The YXZ is no different and since its launch in 2016 these machines have been raced across the world. Now the opportunity is yours!

What is the YXZ Cup
The YXZ1000R UK Cup is an off-road one-design racing championship, run by Yamaha Motor UK, in conjunction with the British Cross Country Championship (BXCC) for Yamaha YXZ1000R customers and enthusiasts. Compete against near identical machines in the Stock classes or create the ultimate racing machine and challenge for the Open title!

The cup visits 6 locations around England, Wales and Scotland

As part of the YXZ1000R Cup you will be welcomed into the Yamaha Race Village at all applicable location. The Yamaha Race Village is about more than the sheltered pit area, refreshments and race updates – it brings the Yamaha Racing Family together, share stories and experience with fellow racers and enjoy the team atmosphere as fellow racers are on track!

Championship Trophy

YXZ Cup competitors must be enrolled into the BXCC and comply with all the  2020 Championship Regulations

Race licenses
All competitors must have a BXCC racing licence which can be obtained free of charge here.

NB Licenses should be completed prior to arrival at any BXCC event.

Stock Classes - Round Winners
1st Place  -  £150 Parts, Accessories & Consumables + Trophy
2nd Place  -  £100 Parts, Accessories & Consumables + Trophy
3rd Place  -  £50 Parts, Accessories & Consumables + Trophy

The overall winner for the Stock Class season will be entered into the YXZ1000R Cup SuperFinale at the Baja Portalegre, Portugal in October 2020. Racers must compete in at 2 qualifying events to be eligible for the SuperFinale

Open Class - Round Winners
1st Place  -  £150 Parts, Accessories & Consumables + Trophy
2nd Place  -  £100 Parts, Accessories & Consumables + Trophy
3rd Place  -  £50 Parts, Accessories & Consumables + Trophy

The overall winner for the Open Class season will be entered into the YXZ1000R Challenge  SuperFinale at the Baja Portalegre, Portugal in October 2020. Vehicles will be required to adhere to the Stock classification guidelines to compete in the SuperFinale. Racers must compete in at 2 qualifying events to be eligible for the SuperFinale
