2022 Updates for Hyper Naked, Sport Heritage and Adventure

Yamaha’s 2022 range is built to take you into a thrilling new world, where you will feel a new level of emotion and excitement. And whatever your style of riding, there is a Yamaha that can satisfy your desire to break free and discover true freedom.

All-new MT-10 SP: Ultimate chassis specification

Since 2013 the Dark Side of Japan has been the inspiration behind the development of Yamaha’s MT models that have brought a whole new level of excitement and dynamism to Europe’s thrill-seeking riders.

Finished in exclusive colours and graphics, the SP models represent the pinnacle of machine development, and feature the most sophisticated specifications available.

The new MT-10 SP is designed for riders who want the most exclusive Hyper Naked with the very highest chassis technology ever fitted to a production model. This machine is the first motorcycle in the world to be equipped with Öhlins’ very latest electronically controlled suspension system at the front and rear.

New XSR700 & XSR700 XTribute

Yamaha’s Sport Heritage range is born from combining modern technology with paying homage to the great designs and colour schemes of our past.

Whilst respecting the past, Yamaha looks to the future and decided to improve the existing platform of the XSR700 with a number of tweaks to lift it to the next level, while ensuring that the versatile character of the bike is not lost in the process.

With all these new specs we keep paying homage to one of our most loved motorcycles of all time, the XT500. In 2022 we again present the XTribute, inspired by this legend amongst the Yamaha ranks. Besides the clear design references, both models share a number of important characteristics, that make them easy to love.

2022 Ténéré 700 & Ténéré 700 Rally Edition

The best-selling adventure model Ténéré 700 continues into 2022 with a range of new colours. Icon Blue is a dynamic new colour inspired by the factory’s race bikes, and features blue body panels and blue wheel rims. Midnight Black projects an understated and moody look, and features an all-black body with black wheel rims.

The Ténéré 700 Rally Edition comes with exclusivity as standard, being equipped with a range of Genuine Yamaha components. For 2022 this model will be available in a new Heritage White colour featuring white bodywork with Yamaha’s famous red speed block graphics, as well as a red/black seat and gold coloured wheel rims.

New Cyan Storm Colour for Yamaha's Hyper Naked

A2-license version for the MT-09 & updated EU5 engine for the MT-03

For 2022 every MT in the line-up, excluding SP models, will be available in the new Cyan Storm colour, with wheels finished in pure Cyan – while the grey and black bodywork features Cyan and vermillion accents on the tail and air scoops.

Following the complete redesign for 2021 that saw the introduction of a new 890cc CP3 engine with a lighter and more compact chassis, the ever popular MT-09 and the premium specification MT-09 SP will be available in a new 35kW version for 2022.
