    The 298mm floating-mount front disc brake ensures excellent stopping power with plenty of feel at the lever, while a 220mm floating disc handles the braking performance at the rear.     The new front fairing is equipped with YZF-R1 style headlights that underline the YZF-R3's strong genetic links with the larger R-series models.     Lightweight wheels and supersport tyres

    The 17-inch wheels are fitted with new pattern 110/70-17 radial front tyre and a wide 140/70-17 radial rear tyre featuring five pairs of thin cast spokes that complement the bike's sleek R-series image. These cast aluminum wheels with light hollow axles are both strong and stylish, while minimising unsprung weight for refined handling performance.
