The exercise provides inspiration and has set new trends in the motorcycle world, making it a reality for everyone to make their Yamaha their own.

XJR1300 ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ by Keino

Japanese custom bike builder Keinosuke ‘Keino’ Sasaki delivers a stunning XJR1300 based concept.

New York city based builder Keino’s amazing interpretation of the Yamaha XJR1300 is born from the search for inspiration by Yamaha for future Sports Heritage Range motorcycles.

The one-off concept features amazing, old school craftsmanship. Keino designed and shaped the lower, slimmer fuel tank by hand, adding a unique filler cap. The stunning work continues with a handcrafted tailpiece, set off with a rear light taken from a classic British MG sports car.

There’s no mistaking the builder of this bike as the XJR gets Keino’s signature springer front-end suspension with matching rear shocks to balance.

Keino also adds custom brake mounts, a new headlight assembly and custom handlebars. There’s also a Brembo brake upgrade, exposed air filters and a custom single seat sitting on a unique rear frame.

Rhapsody in Blue is finished off with a beautiful blue, vintage Yamaha inspired, paint job and gold wheels.
