I discovered my love for motorcycles when I was 4 years old, thanks to my dad.

But I really fell in love with Yamaha when I turned 12 years old. I attended the French GP race in Charade circuit, where Jarno Saarinen won the 350cc race, and I became Saarinen fan, as Yamaha fan immediately.

I built up a "racing seat" from wood for my bicycle copying (more or less...) the design of his TR3 seat and I followed all his racing results during this 1972 season, where he won the 250 cc world championship!

I was definitively addicted and I never forgot it...
