My TMAX Connect

TMAX Tech MAX riders are the first Yamaha owners to enter a completely connected world, through a partnership with Vodafone Automotive. A world where connected vehicles are changing the way we live, and work.

Using an embedded telematics system, TMAX Tech MAX riders can remotely manage their scooter and keep it secure with a dedicated mobile application: My TMAX Connect.

The APP gives riders access to a bike tracker, so they can locate their TMAX Tech MAX at any time and if the bike is moved while the engine is off, the rider receives an alert, straight to their mobile phone!

In case of cehicle theft, the telematiscs system send an alert to the Vodafone Automotive Secure Operating Centre which activates the tracking procedure, follows the vehicle movements in real time and supports local police authorities for its recovery. The service is available 24/7 in 44 European countries, in your own language, even if you are abroad.

  • Bike finder 
    You can geo-localise your TMAX on a map and also use the feature that indicates the route to reach your scooter by foot or with another vehicle.

  • Speed Alert
    You can set a specific speed limit and receive an in-app notification every time you exceed that limit.

  • Riding usage 
    The following information is available: time usage, daily and monthly distance, trip length and road types.

  • Trip report 
    It provides the latest and historical journeys including distance travelled as well as average speed, maximum speed and position on the map.

  • Low Battery 
    You will receive a notification on your smartphone that informs you that the battery of your TMAX is low, avoiding the risk of unpleasant surprises!

  • Theft Management 
    In case of theft and whilst the tracking and recovery procedure is activated, for security reasons, it will not be possible to access your application for the duration of the theft.

  • Horn and blinkers 
    It enables the user to activate horn and/or blinkers via mobile/web app.

  • Geofence 
    This feature enables you to set a Geofence zone around your TMAX and receive an in-app notification if vehicle enters or leaves that area.

The “My TMAX Connect” service is available on the TMAX Tech MAX version. With the purchase of the TMAX Tech Max model year 2021 and up, customers will be able to access the My TMAX Connect vehicle security service, through a subscription. For more information concerning the subscription, contact your Official Yamaha Dealer. 


My TMAX Connect application is compatible with most Android and iOS smartphone models. The APP can be downloaded for free on Play Store (Android) or Apple Store (iOS).


Activation will have to be done at your dealer at www.my-tmax-connect.eu

How to activate your service:

Before starting your registration, make sure you have ready: 

  • Your VIN number
  • Your License Plate Number (if already available)
  • Your smartphone with access to email

To start the registration, go the portal dedicated to Yamaha customers: 

This will only take a few minutes.


Once you have completed the registration, we kindly ask you to contact Vodafone Automotive Customer Services to confirm your order. 
The Customer Service team will complete the procedure and will assist you in the activation phase.


Please note that the service activation procedure requires you to be close to your vehicle in an area with GSM and GPS coverage.


As soon as your service contract is active, you will receive your credentials by SMS and email to download and access the My TMAX Connect mobile app.
