The F115 Powers the Worlds Leading Rescue Service

Share

Pro-User-F115-Features-Main-001The F115 has proven itself aboard the RNLI's fleet of Atlantic 85 fast response RIBs having delivered hundreds of hours of reliable service. These mid-sized RIBs have a twin engine fitment that delivers performance and economy. Trusted by the crews this proven powerhouse provides the instant throttle response required in emergency situations. Strong mid-range and top end power allows the F115 to deliver performance even when boat loads are high and its low maintenance, straightforward design and user friendly features makes routine checks very easy. The F115 has changed little since its introduction and still sets the standard for this class.

Proven 4 cylinder design

The classic 4 cylinder, 16 valve DOHC layout has perfect primary balance for smooth strong power delivery while the EFI system and long pulse tuned inlets ensure high levels of low down torque.

Micro-computer control for high performance and reliability.

Engine functions are monitored and the ECM adjust the fuel injection and ignition timing for optimum economy and response.

Convenience and ease of operation.

Prime Start and start in-gear prevention make the F115 quick and easy to get going.

Ideally suited to rescue situations

The shallow water drive system means you can get in really close with this engine while the high power alternator keeps the boats electrical systems charged even if you are running search lights or rescue equipment.

Quality and durability come as standard

Yamaha has its own special marine grade aluminium called YDC-30 which minimises the corrosive effects of salt water. Combined with a 5-stage coating exterior finish and self-sacrificing anodes the F115 is built to last. Features like fresh water flushing port make routine maintenance easy too.

User friendly features

The YDIS diagnostic system allows full monitoring of the engines history and functions when connected to a laptop computer

Fully Equipped

With a fresh water flushing point, Y-COP remote security immobiliser, Yamaha Digital Network Gauges and LAN wiring system plus an NMEA 2000 compatible data feed the F115 offers outstanding flexibility.

Options

The F115 is available in Long and Extra Long shaft lengths and is also available in Counter Rotation for twin engine fitments. Stainless steel or aluminium propellers are available along with a choice of multi-function digital or analogue gauges.
